At Abbeyfield Durham, we are proud to be part of a rural Grey County community where generations of families have built their lives together.
Our grandparents and older adults are part of the story of Grey County. They have worked our farms, taught in our schools, operated local businesses, volunteered at community events, coached teams, supported neighbours and raised generations of families.
They remember when the roads, farms and small towns looked a little different — and they have plenty of stories to tell! 🌾❤️
This Grandparents Day, take some time to visit, share a meal, make a phone call, look through old photographs or simply sit together and listen to a favourite story.

Midnight Harmony will be performing on Saturday, September 12th from 2 pm to 3 pm. Enjoy local musicians, Michael Hiltz and Brian White.
This event has been organized by the Abbeyfield residents.
